On October 4, 2010, the Elaspine™ implant system received an award as Best New Technology for Spine Care in 2010 at the Spine Technology Awards gala in Orlando, Florida, in conjunction with the North American Spine Society annual meeting.         The Elaspine™ Implant System was selected as the Best New Technology in the category Motion Preservation and recognized for its originality, clinical relevance (including would the judges use the product themselves) and likelihood of improving patient outcomes. Elaspine™ was among 17 new and emerging technologies that have received an award this year.           The awards are presented annually by Orthopedics This Week, the most widely read publication in the Orthopaedic industry.
