Elaspine™ is designed to reduce pain while still allowing a limited range of motion in the spinal column. It is able to support the posterior disc structures and the facet joints as well as to protect nerve roots from excessive compression or shocks. Elaspine™ can potentially reduce the incidence of adjacent segment disease.           The elastic rod protects the pedicle screw / bone interface from any hard stop and thereby lays the foundation for a long-lasting screw anchorage.
